[HI; Kent didnt have a lot of money but he made do with whatever he could scrounge up , that car ran in the eights with a junkyard 354! Jack and Wayne were in the eights then too with all the money and parts they had! NOBODY got more out of used up parts than kent!! that little motor turned almost 10,000 RPMs once on the teltale tach! that car was'nt much to look at but it hauled ass when something was'nt broke! I did not want anyone to think this is a glass car, so I removed the molded on rear fenders and had a set made out of metal.

Too many 'stockers' and modern built stuff popping up! LOL! I figured I'd post some shots of the Red Baron pickup and the Hill Bros. coupe with the wheels up for you all!

Okay a couple of non stockers too - one of my personal favorites, Terry Baker's '33 coupe built by Art and Mike Chrisman. It has the most subtle of chops - about 1" and the car is simply phenomenal. I watched it being built in a variety of places of a period of twelve years.

Another - utes have integrated pickup beds - not separate boxes as the U.S. pickups have....

U.S 1935 pickup with 1933 glass nose. I have yet to find any sustainable evidence in many years of studying and collecting these Model 77 Willys that US pickups were built prior to 1935 - same goes for the panel wagon. AnI have seen several purported 1933 or 1934 pickups and panel vans but it appears they have had the front sheet metal from a 1933 or 1934 grafted on to the 1935 or 1936. 1936s have a non opening windshield and modified dash, so conversions on these are easy to spot. the rarer 1935s can be a little tougher to detect. The front spring hangers on the 1935s and 1936s have to be replaced with the earlier and shorter 1933/34 type to change the front sheet metal to the earlier style. The pickup was actually based on the front cab of the panel - not the passenger car. Take a look at the roofline - it is a giveaway. Some sedans have been converted to pickup truck but the roofline and square cornered rear window of the factory pickup is the hallmark of an original....

Rarest of the rare - 1936 Aussie bodied panel van - the only one I have ever seen and may be the only one in existence. The body is very different to the US version....
