Havent posted in awhile! Got the truck back up and running recently. It was decommissioned for a few months due to some fueling and brake issues. But now that its all together Im driving the tires off of it. Ive succesfully put more miles on the truck in the last week then over the last 3 years of owning!

    Plans
Smooth out and finish chop (cab and bed)
repair door bottoms and cab corners
    one color
    DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!

Also Ill see you guys at TROG. Getting the truck striped by a local buddy of mine while Im down there.

  3. Looks good and IMHO would be a big improvement if it were all on color but there are a lot of hot rods on the road that are in the same shape. HRP

Thanks! A little more inspiration for me, I scored a 34 frame to go under my 34 cab on Sunday!! I can't wait until I am driving my Hot Rod like you are yours!! Your 32 has a very similar look to the direction I am going. Go burn some fuel!! :)

Great profile on this truck. How much is the top chopped, and how much is the bed shortened?

Thanks HRP I agree but the body work has to get done first before anything else!

Ben I may take you up on that! HAHA

Alchemy. I cant take credit for the proportions. Forum member Flatpower did the top and the bed. Both were shortend 4 3/4".

Great job. Nothing like finally getting them on the road. Now you can fine tune it to your liking when you have time.
Bobbin the bed or keeping it as is? Any fenders in the future?
    Love the tire combo. Congrats

HRP that thing is BITCHEN! And he pulls the camper with it? Soo cool

Petejoe I like the bed as it is... About the fenders, Im torn. I like the look of no fender/wires but I think would add a lot of value and look pretty slick with full fenders. I think its going to stay fenderless for a while. But maybe not forever.

  13. Ken and I were building our trucks at the same time and I was temped to go fender less but with the short bed I decided fenders were

I must admit that I'm somewhat prejudiced about these old trucks.

I absolutely love the way yours sits. Wow!

  22. One thing about no fenders. If you are driving through "liquid sunshine" nobody follows you very closely. Rooster tails!
