  1. Ben, sweet ride and outstanding craftsmanship! You've given me some great ideas for my '31 Chevrolet.

Any chance you can post a hi-res of your CAD drawing, I like some of your angles for the frame.

Again, thanks for all the support guys! I can't believe I've been working on this thing so long now! Started on it back in 2008 when I was a sophomore in college and hopefully it'll be on the road very soon!

Man i would but the drawings were on my old computer which crashed so I don't even have them anymore myself! Sorry

I hope I have it finished by then! Still lack driveshaft, glass, finish front brake plumbing, wiring gauges, and a couple other odds and ends!

I know I should know this, but when and where is that? I've heard of it, but I can't keep track of all them all ha

Thanks it has come a long ways!

Preciate it what have you been working on lately?

Got windshield in it and everything pretty much finished up. Having issues with it not wanting to idle so screwing with the center carb.

Anybody have any expertise on Rochester 2G tri power setups? Engine is a 327, .030' over, 10:1 CR, lumpy solid lift cam, power pak heads ported with 1.94/1.60 valves and DOESN'T idle at all. I don't believe it's getting any fuel. An engine builder here at home said he thinks I need a different power valve. I have a regulator on it and it is right at 5 lbs. Any help is appreciated!

Well...couldn't get the engine to idle right. Had the center carb apart multiple times. Talked to quite a few people about it and I believe I'm running too big a cam and the little 327 won't pull the necessary vacuum for the idle circuit to work properly. And since I'm leaving for a show in Knoxville Tennessee this Thursday, I set me up two fours! And now it runs and idles, at least off one carb. Linkage and dual quad fuel line should be here Tuesday. Wish me luck!

Thanks Jim I'm still partial to the looks of that tri power but I like the dual quads cause they run!

Car looks great! Did you play with the air bleeds on primary carb? I had to drill and tap mine for little brass plugs to fatten my 6x2 setup to idle too. I can go into more detail. Just let me know and I can PM you my cell.

Thanks and yes I drilled them out .030" larger with no luck. How much larger did you have to go?

I think you went the wrong way When I first fired mine I couldn't get it to idle below 2000 rpm because it was too lean. I don't remember what the factory air bleed size was but I'm went down from the factory size to .035 to fatten it up.

The way it was explained to me you need to cut down the air in the mixture by letting less air in with the smaller hole in the bleed.

The change was dramatic on mine. I hit the key and it sat there and idled around a 1000 rpm.
