Selling my 1929 Ford Roadster pickup. It's powered by a HiPo 289-K code motor. C-4 trans. Hallibrand QC- '39 rear. Original cab/frame. Bed is shortened Brookville and is complete with wood planks and stainless Lots of custom touches- exhaust, turned dash etc. I've owned this for 2 years and have enjoyed the hell out of it. I had big plans, but plans change... Some of you may recognize the truck. It was started by HAMBer- JPBanjo out of Oklahoma in the 80's. Unfortunately JP passed on back in 2012. I bought the truck from the guy who bought it from his widow. JP kept some great documentation on the build- all in a 3" thick binder that goes with the car. I've really enjoyed reading through it. Full of receipts, pictures, hand drawn notes, engineering drawings etc. The car runs great. Engine is broken in right- sounds great and has lots of power. Will do 70 on freeway easily and at 2100 lb and roughly 300 HP, it it a kick. Comes with a black fold down (sort of) top. Looks great up, but I think it's an aftermarket brand- (BeBop maybe) that the second owner put on it. Doesn't fold so great. I've been running it sans top anyway. One of the perks of living in SoCal. I will post more picts and videos later in the week. Feel free to PM me with any questions. $30K OBO Thanks. View attachment 3226169
Removed bed to fix a small gas leak at the tank (gasket replaced at sender and fill tube)...so decided to re-stain the wood. Now that bed's off, I'm dis-assembling for paint...Will post new picts when done ...oh and ...bump
