No....yes....Kinda. :D I've got the engine in and the suspension under it and am just waiting on a new set of tires and wheels to be powdercoated before is can rest on it's own 4 feet. :D I'll start another thread soon. I gotta take some pics.

Thanks!! I hope I don't disappoint you now that I've completely changed directions on the coupe since I missed ROG. Good news I am building it once and for all instead of half ass-ing some things just to get it done on time. Little more mild but still pretty mean. Stay tuned!

Here we are 3-4 months later and still no update. Give me a few more days and I'll start a new NON ROG 33 thread. Got quite a few things lined up so I can make steady progress all summer long!

Getting '35 ready for summer then switching back to the 33.

A year plus later..... still nowhere even remotely close. I started chopping it last October and that I have done besides collect more parts for it. Let's just write off the whole ROG plans at this point since it would take a real concerted effort to make it there even 2016. Anyways, I thought I would leave you where I ended last week.... I need my inner @flatnasty to come out!

@Ford Mike. Shut up. I'll put the Lyons caps on it until I switch over if you'll come down and assist me.

What you did with the chop is spot on!

I am about to do something similar with mine, but I'm not taking material out of the rear, but shortening the roof & leaning the A pillars back! (It's already been chopped... to my disliking.)

Keep up the great work! It's an inspiration to us all!

I worked on it a bit more Sunday. I got the doors opening and closing real good and the gaps within reason. Then I tacked in the lower windshield to match the lean on the side windows. I ran into a snag when I made the cuts at top front corners to kick the a pillars out but thanks to @thunderbirdesq I think I know where my issue is.

Anyways I threw the windshield in to see what the peep hole with look like once it's all finished. I'm pretty stoked on where it's all headed.....

  28. Love the proportions! I like the wire wheels as well, just think it needs more tire rake. Nice work!

I went with 6.00's up front to combat the extra length in wheel base. Little chunkier then what most people do but I like it.
