Sure looks good...i like the detail's..
And like the others have said, that floor looks great! Believe it or not, that was the first thing i noticed .Nice too see the use of wood down there instead of tin all the time. Especially when it looks so nicely done.

i was a bit loopy last night and couldn't get a good picture of it.. It is a key fob my Dad picked up at a swap meet years ago...It normally resides in Regret (the Sedan)... The alum. part was machined in the tool room to the exact specs. of an orig. anyway, here is a decent picture of it, and a few more random shots.

That is an absolute PERFECT hot rod interior... You can't do one any better than that. Period.
Everything is just very well thought out and finished appropriately. Just perfect.

Awesome. It has the feel of a car that's really important and has been preserved as such. An elusive, intangible ideal flavor in my opinion.
It also kinda' reminds me of a WWII fighter cockpit. The semi-finished wood floorboards and sort of zinc-chromate-like color give it a P-51 Mustang vibe, without slavishly aping that machine's details verbatum. |

A nice car to remember. Stands out.
If Classic Insruments can make that kind of gauges, someone should make a high quality identical repop of the Auburn panel. Nicest new instruments I have seen. I never liked new classics or anything, but these have the 30's - 40's look a hot rod like this and the auburn panel needs. The dash/interior is the best part of the car. Smoke'em Paul |

Hey drummer
About those gauges. Sounded to good to be true. But I still believe they should have repoped it 1:1, both panel and gauges. Noyhing beats the old Back mounts. The available Knecth panel just makes me sad. Looks NEW all over. Almost like the orig, but not quite. I don't get it. I've also got a pair of 39 Lincoln taillights that's going on my AV8. They are gorgeous. Realy like your car. Paul Last edited by AV8-Rider; 02-25-2006 at 04:03 PM. |

The seat is a sort of bomber seat... here's a picture, it was my customers idea, and I thought it was a great idea!! It was going to be the only one, but the almighty dollar made different... It's actually really comfortable. ______________________________________________ irish27t, "My compliments to the Metal Meister responsible for the tunnel cover on the floorboard! That was a team effort, it started with a pattern for the base, we formed some steel, a few days passed and the upper part was made, then my Dad hammer formed the foot pocket and did the final touches to make it presentable to the public, the team did a wonderful job
