No pics yet, but my son Rich is about to fit his '27 Hiboy with a 390... Hiboy is based on a pair of '25 Dodge "Big 6" rails, trimmed down for aesthetics...then tapered nicely from firewall forward, blending gracefully into '32 Ford frame horns. Profile is nice and full, frame is 6.5" deep at the center...F-E engine will be well supported and backed up with either a T 150 with jeep tower or a WC 5 speed. Initial trial fit put engine in ideal relationship with firewall...flat back of block makes setback easier with no firewall surgery...no distributor, etc. back there. He has promised pics, so...waiting.
Crummy pics but here is my friend Shaun's. He built this when he was in his early 20's (10 years ago). Has a built 390, he made the intake and 90 degree distributor drive, LaSalle top shit trans and an early 9". It is currently not running gettinga freshing up and fenders put on it
