We are happy to let everyone know that the show will take place at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds on May 2, 3, & 4.
Show starts at noon on Friday.
Show starts at 8:00 am on Saturday.
Sunday will be the Bloody Mary Brunch with a Blessing of the Cars and Blessing of the Bikes. There will be a gospel set by Rodney and the Regulars for all those that want to listen on Stage 2. Please note there will be no vendors on Sunday. All buildings will be closed.
Sunday will be the final day for cars getting out on the dirt track.
So, if there is a rain out on Friday and Saturday, hopefully we will still be able to hit the track on Sunday.
Lots of info at the official site - we will post more details as they arrive.
Special thanks to Max Grundy for coming up with the above image!

For some reason people seem to think the show was rained out last year..... YES - it rained. But the show was NOT rained out. Here is a picture. The people that commit to coming to Torque Fest are going to show up rain or shine - this was proven last year.[IMG]

If you are considering setting up a vendor booth at Vintage Torque Fest, the inside booths are first come first served. Please note that we allow only those selling auto related/kustom culture influenced items to be sold. So this means get your payments in now. Details on the site - vintagetorquefest.com - click on Features, then Vendors - info is at the bottom of the page

It wasn't cold last year! Look at the photos and you'll see people in t-shirts! Ok, and jackets. It did rain off and on Saturday. The spectator lot was a muddy mess, but the show car lot was nice... all the more reason to drive an old car! :)

Too bad the show cars had to drive through the "muddy mess" to get to the "show car lot"! Not to mention the spectators had to park in the "Muddy mess lot".

we have corrected the show cars going through the muddy mess - if the same situation arises there will be no need for cars to go through the field.

As for the spectators - we have told the fairgrounds that more preparation is needed in case we have the same exact scenario.
They are on board and ready to help out.

Not sure if you have ever been to Jefferson Swap A Boner - but Spring can be a swamp. I have seen them hauling out cars with tractors the entire afternoon on Sunday.....
    it's just part of it.
We are not a Good Guys show, nor an NSRA show. The rides are meant to be driven at Torque Fest.....
We hope to get some much needed track time in at the show this year.
The grounds have agreed to let us run all THREE days.
So come to the show and be prepared to get out on the track and have some laps. If you choose to not head out there - perhaps go on the Field of Dreams run on Friday- or the downtown parade on Thursday. This event is about having a good time and driving your ride. Hope you can join us.

While the emphasis is on 2 and 4 wheel items at our show.... MUSIC is a BIG part of the show....
Dale Watson was the headliner last year.

Thanks man! We appreciate your support over the years. And yes - we are going to have a killer art show and auction this year as well. The panel we made for the artists this year is the '32 Ford Grill - here is the first one we have received pictures of - Paul Knipfler did an amazing job on this one.
For those that do not know- the art auction goes to help pay the medical bills we incur over the year. This year, Hannah is scheduled for heart surgery in June. So the bills will be a bit more than the normal year. We hope everyone will help us out, cause we are going to need it fer sure.
