Last week someone asked me to post the original black and white photo of the colorized image I posted. The thread was closed by the time I tried to do it, so I'm posting the original and my painted version again. Below them is a new painted B&W for this week....... hope you enjoy.

Ooooh! I dig that Oldsmobile image, that one is very cool!

I am always excited for Friday not only because it's the last day of the work week but because of this thread. The talent on here amazes me. It seems like it gets better and better. Great job everyone. Bob the Christmas cards are amazing and i can't wait to send them out.

 

Should we do little less picture quotes? Just that don't have check same pics page after page.

 

A great start on the F.A.S., the coolest day o the week. I always look forward to the sweet offerings by our incredible art force. I love the gas station shot in b/w, hard to imagine two people fawning over one car, now it is pump it yourself and checking under the hood usually goes neglected. Thanx for the great stuff kids. ~sololobo~

i dont draw too many hot rods any more...its more bikes for me....but i did just finish this pencil drawing of Lynn Bird's A roadster....i added and left out some bits.....great show fellas....

I don't know who built this bike, but it has to be the badass bike to end all bikes. Love it. My hat is off to the builder. Man do I wish I had this to ride growing up.

I've been trying the metal sculpture thing also.....Horse shoe crab. I kind of stole the idea from the internet. But it was fun to make. Gary
