First run of the day, the driver of this 31(?) sedan apparently didn't realize how sticky this track is,....and had it on it's back bumper right out of the gate. All he saw was the cloudy sky through his windshield,...let off on it and crashed down onto the track.

When his front suspension crumbled, he lost his steering and side swiped the wall.....all within the first 30-40 feet from the tree..

It's one of 12 Bob Johnson Racing Enterprises drag cars. He was the high performance manager of Scuncio Chevrolet in RI back in the 60s through the 80s.
I bought it in full on race attire, and put it back on the street. It's a documented real Z28, with 11,000 original miles on it. I didn't restore it to original,...but it looks pretty stock from the outside now. I'm getting the itch to bring it back to it's race trim,...stickers and all.

    This is it, today. ;)

^^ I could live with that just the way it is!;) We are treading on dangerously O/T ground here, how quick is it in its present state?
