Like i said, your tin works looks real good. I was alway's into the mechanical end of car's, motors etc..and still am.. But once i got into the chop on my 53 i realised where my passion really was.. I love the sheetmetal fabrication.. Again, nice job man!!!
Wow Jase, that car looks KILLER. Great work and glad to see it came here to SoCal where it belongs. Brandy
wow, that was a lot of pics... sorry. Its off for the shiney stuff... updated pics after its painted.
Man, that's some real progress. I didn't know it'd even made it out there yet. I love that car. Mootz
Hey I know that kickassed ford. Man , Keep those pics comming!!!! I really want to see that thing finished in paint!!! jeff
Damn, now that looks good! Why didn't I think of stubbing the fuel filler neck off in the trunk...Hmmm.... Keep postin'! http://landyachts.homestead.com/index.html
me too! probably one of the best chops on a shoebox I've seen in a long time... anybody know who did it??? the engine compartment is gold. Blue with gold scallops was discussed for a bit... dunno for sure yet! ya know, I haven't done any sheetmetal work in about a year.. I kinda shyed away for it for awhile... dunno why... I forgot how much I like to do it! Except welding the stainless trim round the windows... that sucks. nope.
wow!! i know what a pain in the ass those doorposts can be. that looks PERFECT you made me feel like a rookie ! nice work
I like the trunk hinges. Gotta have a little chrome on the car. I'd like to know if you're gonna use '49 or '50 front parking lights. I've always liked the '49 style, integrated into the grille bar. Or maybe something custom? Chop looks fantastic, whoever cut that one knew what they were doing.
I'm STILL pissed I didn't buy that thing!!!! Jason, you did an amazing job on that stuff. Now, seeing that you like to do the metal work, when can you come over to Ventura Co. and help a newbie HAMB brother out and do those same things on my '51?
