History LONG BEACH CAVALIERS~ 65th Anniverssary Get Together ~ YOUR INVITED! NOV. 9TH!!

This year marks the clubs 65th Anniversarry! In the tradition of dances and balls that clubs would sponser in the 40's and 50's - We have planned a special get together not only to get all of the current and Original Cavaliers together along with thier familys- but to have our friends in attendance as well.

We wanted to extend an invitation to you as hamb members. Bring your hot rods and kustoms and hang out with us. Its going to be one to remember! BTW Be classy and wear a nice shirt your girl will appreciate it

The date is: SATURDAY NOV. 9TH 5PM-Midnight

What to expect:

• Bring your car, we have a huge secured lot for hot rods and Kustoms
• A sit Down Dinner is included
• The facility has a Full Bar (you pay)
• Live Band - Lil Mo & the Dynaflo's

Cavaliers members from 1948 and aldo 2nd generation Cavaliers fron 1957 have confirmed and will be flying in from around the coutry. There will be aproximetly 30 original members in attendance to share all the stories first hand.

I have personally sat with many of these guys and heard endless awesome stories of the way things were. If your into the history of our hobby this would be the event for you.

awards will be picked by first and second generation Cavaliers. these guys are now 75 and 85 years old (aprox) and will be looking for something that brings back those old memories so bring your rods n customs.

You forgot 4.

4. Meet and greet with over 20 original members of the club from the 1940s, 50s and 60s. some of these guys are in their mid 80s and have some great stories.

Imagine an 85 year old Bill Steen telling you about the time he was porking his old lady while waiting for his turn to race only to get shot at by the farmer and chased by the cops in the 40s.

Or 75 year old Sam Wiggins and the others "borowing" a monkey from a local L.B. pet shop, puting a club jacket on it and go cruising with it while it smoked and drank.... till it got drunk and took a bite out of a members leg Iate 50s.

These and many stories from the guys that were there, at the begining of our hobby

Just confirmed.. Monte Trones "Cavalier Coupe" will be on display at the anniversary event, Special thanks to Jimmy White for making this possible. The venue has tons of up front parking for customs and hot rods so bring your cars to give the founding members that vintage feel.
