You've seen Top Gear, right? It's a British show featuring a few limey characters that test drive super cars under all kinds of crazy scenarios and then report back with witty commentary. It's actually quite watchable. There's also an American versio... To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here. |

That was awesome! Now, how about digging up something similar comparing Ford, Chevy, and Plymouth?

Top Gear is fantastic... and I had a feeling after reading the topic that someone would link the Reliant Robin episode. Enjoyed the hell out of those linked videos. Made my day Ryan.

GREAT videos, too bad the color (I think) was washed out. So did all the old Mopars get used up by off-roaders? The US version of Top Gear is a ppor 2nd to the British show. The Mopars were impressive, and not nearly as ugly as the GM cars. Plus, I love F-104s.

Old school tests. Those roads were awfully narrow in the first video.
And where the hell was Jayne Mansfield? I need more!! Favorite Top Gear is the Ariel Atom. "I am an alien" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWoo82zNUA

One of the few "don't miss a single episode" shows. Crossing South America episode was one of my favorites. Cool videos.
