The course I took with Mr. Winfield was great, and for the last hour or so of the last day we all just sat around throwing questions at him. The man is an encyclopedia. This is an amazing opportunity.

I think i've met Gene at least 3 times in Austin this year and then in Salina, KS both in 2010 (first time i ever met him and he wanted to get a pic w/ me and my bro! woo hoo!) and then this year again! He is a cool guy w/ Definately lots of knowledge! Not say, a good dancer! hehe! he was dancing his legs off at the KKOA leadsled spectacular w/ a cute blonde and i got lots of pics! Sucha good - spirited guy, so happy he's made it this way to our site

Gene stayed at my house when he used to come out east for a car show in "Woosta" MA. The stories that he has are priceless. His energy is off the charts and he is an inspiration. A true living legend.

I have a question for Gene.
Why is it that every time I see him (over 100 times I'm sure) he looks at me with that blank stare that says "who is this guy?" but when he sees my wife he runs right up and gives her the total body smash hug and acts like he's just reunited with his high school sweetheart? Quite the ladies man. She's married Gene. |

I'm looking forward to meeting him soon in Cincinnati. He is chopping my 49 Ford at the Cavalcade Show in January. I've never heard a bad word about the man and who can't look up to a guy like Gene. It will be an honor to watch him slice the roof off that old shoebox.
