I'm getting ready to have the glass cut and installed in my 40 ford pickup. I would like to do away with the center bar. Does anyone know where I can get the windshield rubber gasket to do this. I know they are out there but can only find gaskets for the split windshield.
Thanks Jim |

Leave the center piece in and new gaskets come with patterns for a good fit, no center strip looks like billet rod stuff

are you going to V-butt the windshield or going with a 1 piece windshield?

I went with V butt because if replacement is needed, it costs a lot less to buy one piece of flat glass, than the $300 for a new one-piece.
Ask around the area, a good local glass shop can help you with it. 4TTRUK |
