Lots of good stuff and I will miss it (apart from Joe's deal as he is across the parking lot from me) as I will be out of town from Wednesday morning until Friday night. Roo |

Just an opinion, but Spam lite is the work of the Devil himself... For that matter, anything spelled "lite" is to be considered the living embodiment of evil. |

Mmmm, Spam. I guess I've got dinner plans for Friday now.
Then Jokerr's on Saturday. Gotta check on the progress of my deuce that Jo is building for me. Looking forward to a fun weekend and meeting some new folks. Not sure if I'm going to bring the '34 down or just the daily truckster??? . .

]Don't be a light weight nancyboy, DRIVE the '34 down.
By the way, when you heading out?
I can't drive anything fun down because I'm hauling down a bunch of parts for my '32. I also need to bring a bunch of extra parts back with me. That and I'm a Nancy boy. ![]() The '34 still has the stock gears and the flattie is getting ready for a rebuild. So that car stays pretty close to home right now. The new deuce will have a 5-speed and a Halibrand quickie. It's gonna be a great road-trippin' car. I'm leaving about noon Friday and it's about 5.5 hrs for me. Little longer if I tow the car down. When are you heading down Denise? Looking forward to seeing you again.

I'll pass, when I got married 43 years ago I told my wife if she ever brought a can of Spam in the house she had better have her bags packed because I'd be filing for divorce then and there.
Every time I was on KP in Viet Nam the cook who had the noon duty would have me put about three 10 lb cans of that stuff in a big baking pan so he could stick the "LUnchoonnn meat" in the oven for lunch. I still can't stand the smell of it 44 years later. Have fun and enjoy folks.
You wouldn't say that if you've ever had Bubba's Spamwich.
Absolutely agreed Spam is easily one of the world's great culinary creations, just not in it's "lite" form! Sure wish I could be there! |

I'd like to try this Spam Musubi sometime.
![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_musubi Sounds a little too "fancy" for Bubba though!

My coworker Ed says he is up for it but it's a bit far away. His favorite idea of fun at work is to wave a spam sandwich past me and watch me gag.
