Man that's a deal and a chance to meet some great HAMBers. Even though they probably wouldn't wanna meet us!
Several years back we had a decent sized club over here on the west coast called Tri-County Cruisers. Had at least 25-30 cars several years in the club area. Very handy.
Never even considered or knew the HAMB group did that.
Sadly old age has caught up and we missed last year and this one. Have fun fellas.

Hope you reserved a camp spot someplace. It fills up everywhere!
The Speedway is only part of it. Be ready to cruise Daytona. Especially Bel Air Plaza and A-1-A.

For those of you that don't know. The show has two types of parking ,general were you are told where to park by parking crew.If you get there a little late you could end up parking on the apron of the track out in the boonie's. We also have reserved club parking area's available at extra cost. This get's you a spot with your club (HAMB) in this case.I have reserved the entire paved parking area at the east end of the lake same as last year.We usually have 30/40 car's. I believe we get more than any other club and have a ball.I perchased these spot's out of my own pocket up front.Your 10.00$ get's you a window sticker that the parking crew will see and direct you right to our spot. and of course you know you will have a spot . This show fill's up fast and parking can be a problem. If you want to park with us PM me I will give you my address . Send me 10.00$ for each car and I will get your sticker's in the mail. Trust me this is the best 10.00$ you will spend all weekend. So any other question's just give me a shout Gregg

We've been going to TR for over 30 years and believe me, the HAMB parking area is the best thing going. I never felt good about parking our cars out in the middle of the grassy field and just leaving it unattended all day, but there is always some HAMBer around the cars in the HAMB area, plus it is paved, so your car stays a lot cleaner.

We are taking a motorhome again this year because we just do not like leaving our cars in some hotel parking lot all night, and we generally stay at the RV resort on International Drive. Nice place and nice people that run it. The gate is also guard protected, plus your car is sleeping right outside your door all night.

See you guys there. We have two swap meet spots, usually off the front paved street (one row from food alley) I will post space number once we receive them. My crew is on their 15th year and its better every year. For those who are looking for a good place, perrys ocean edge is old skool hot rod hangout with indoor pool and plenty of good cars in the lot. I will PM you Greg to trade details.

If you're bringing your car, you can pre register on their web site, or pay an extra $5 at the gate to bring your car into the track. In the past you get some extra admission tickets for guests that could be used for each day. If you don't have a car, you have to park outside the track, pay admission and walk in.

bhead1968 The HAMB parking is inside the speedway. It is for HAMB friendly car's. If you are bringing a daily driver it will have to be parked outside. You are allowed to bring up to 4 people in a car including the driver. If your bringing your car in you need to park with us. That way you will have a reserved parking spot.If you park in general show parking you could wind up in the boonie's.If you have any other question's PM me.

Allright guy's. Parking for the Turkey run is full as of tonight.Everyone who has P.M.d me is in.We have 36 car's signed up . There might be a couple spot's available at show time. .I will not know till we get there. It will depend on what type car's show up. If we have alot of hot rod's we might have room for a few more.If we get alot of big car's then we are full.Sold out a month in advance is pretty damn cool.I guess I will have to get us a bigger spot next year.If anyone need's to contact me at the show my cell # is 386-295-5000. or just ask anyone on the parking crew working the show to contact me. I will have a walkie Talkie on at all time's. See you guy's there

TDak the parking is across the east end of the infield lake. It is in a fenced in area and we will be the only ones in that area. You should be able to recognize some of the car's from people in this thread.

It is in the fenced in area just not the long narrow one. Our area is along the east end of the lake and run's north south. By the way weather roport say's sunny slight breeze and low 70's

I'll be up on Thursday and Friday for sure. Can't wait to get out in the 50 and take her for a little trip. Hope to see everyone. If you see the car say hi.

Earlier the better if you want a parking spot! I'd say it will be PACKED by four o' clock or so.

Thats what I like about this group of Guys...
I went in "Frances" the purple truck and carried extra stuff.
On my way back to Jacksonville I stopped for an overheated 57 ish Dodge truck with a leak in the rad hose just south of RT 206. Gave him 2 gallons of water and some blue tape. Along with my Cell number if he needed it.... He never called...

Thanks for the offer Gregg, we got busy working on the house today.
Nads, I was mostly coming around to visit with you since you are one
are one of my last OG HAMB buddies, he-he. We'll probably be down a lot more
once we get the house finished. I'll be set up in the vendor area at
The Mecum auction again this year also.
