My father once owned a Red '65 Riviers GS with the dual quad 425 in the late Seventies. It was one of his favorite cars and that's really saying something after everything that he's owned! I always wanted one for myself and it finally happened when my father found a one-owner survivor, Yellow '65 while hitting the Wednesday morning garage sales. Even the original Protect-0-plate had the address that I purchased the car from. They are very, very cool cars.

Good job Ryan! I will eventually have another one too. Had a 65 when I was 18, too young to appreciate it then. Can't wait for the pictures.

Well done, I can understand that purchase, they are cool cars, I was tossing up over a cheap one on here for months and probably should have grabbed it @@!!

Hmmmm... I like Riv's
Years ago I tried to talk a guy out of his 65 dual quad, he wouldnt go for it... It rotted over time and was eventually hauled away as junk. Still pisses me off when I think about it. I know, sad story...get out the tissues to wipe away the tears.

Well do I see another web site in your future. THE RIVIERA JOURNAL !!!!!!!!! Watch that guy that bought the other one. He's bad news. HA

I could go for the Riv Journal!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'd settle for a new HAMB t-shirt that incorporates a Buick tri-shield logo. hint hint. Go ahead and put my name on the list.
