Hey folks!
It's been a while since I jumped on to post. I've been busy trying to finish my studio space that I started before my son was born a few years ago. Still cranking away there. I wanted to jump on because I have a timely post since it's Dream Cruise weekend here in the D. I was commissioned to do a t-shirt series for the famous Vinsetta Garage in Berkley, MI. It was the oldest filling station this side of the Mississippi, opening in 1919. Now, its one of the coolest hot spots for Garage eats in the area. At any rate, they asked me to do a shirt series for the Woodward Dream Cruise and wanted a Hotrod, Custom, Muscle. I go to thinking about it and really wanted to represent the Big 3 in the series as well. In my mind (anyway) The Hotrod is a Ford, just plain and simple. I strayed from the classic (dare I say overdone Deuce) So I picked a '33 Ford Ragtop for it. ![]() The Custom has to be a Chevy if going with the same logic. Not only should it represent a custom, but I was also thinking in the vein of Lowrider as well. I did a 1960 Impala with Cadi taillights. ![]() Rounding out the Big 3 is Mopar, and the word synonymous with Mopar is Muscle. Again, straying from the norm of the of Dodge or Chrysler, I went with the dead brand of Plymouth with a 1969-70 Roadrunner. ![]() Lastly, I had done a rendition of their Wrecker for their menu and turned that out again as part of the series ![]() These are available as soon as possibly today, but Saturday for sure. I hope to pop my head in the door to pick one up. It's going to be nuts there for sure. |

What a way to start the day! It's been a good while since I've posted anything. Hard to find time between kids, working on cars and the house, trips, and just everyday life. But I do have two pieces I'll share with you. Let me know what you all think. One is a 283 Injected Chevy motor and the other is a pedal car.
