Chevy 265 motor and 3 speed transmission

I have the original 265 cubic inch V-8 motor from my 1955 Chevy car. It is complete and is running. I drove it to Sacramento on the freeway at 65-70mph and it ran perfectly. The car has a 2bl carbureator and has a recently rebuilt generator. The car has a new fuel pump too. This motor is the upgraded "Power Pack" engine for 1955. It does not smoke and runs flawlessly. I drove it occasionally for the last 12 years with no problems. It is powerful and can smoke the tires! I am putting a 350 crate motor and an automatic in the car in place of this motor. (Wife hates a stick shift!) The 265 comes with the original 3 speed transmission already bolted up and ready to go. I have a chrome floor shifter I had installed last year and I will include that also. So, everything is numbered the same and is ready to bolt in and go. The price is firm. I may be interested in trades. I am not looking for any more vehicles to trade, I have more than enough already! Let me know what else you may have to offer. Thanks! Rick
