Although I like old bikes I fail to see where this thread is car/rod relative.

I've got a bunch but here's the last one I worked on. 1971 Varsity stripped down and turned into a coaster brake single speed. I've since put a Brooks B-17 saddle on it and a proper ally stem and handlebars. I've been riding the hell out of it. I got it at a pawn shop for 10 bucks.

Did someone say bicycles?
I have been working in a shop going on 17 years now (I'm 31). I love me some bikes.I have owned and built everything from 1920's to the newest $25,000 carbon fiber, electronic shifting nightmares. Here's my 1946 Schwinn Excelsior that I modified a little bit. I pulled it out of the basement a couple days ago and ripped around town. It still pedals like a bike and is also pedal start. I also posted a picture of the latest find, a 1920's Stutz. Recently sold to another collector. It's very similar to the old Indians. |

It's all about modifying a set of old wheels, with a Hot Rod flair. Besides, they're perfect for cruising the pits, or starting line at Bonneville.

Bikes have been discussed on the HAMB for longer than I've been a member... and that's a while now.
