Because I love you guys!!!

I just picked one up on Firday for $10 on craigslist. I had to drive to Irvine to pick it up but it was well worth it. It fits like it was made for it.
I had to fab some brackets to mount, paralle surface to the cab floor, 5" or 6" above with 4 allen wrench bolts included.

That is the seat I used in my 31 roadster, and it works great. It even has a reclining feature for your back, only problem is that the knob is on the passenger side. It is a much heavier seat with better support than the Dodge Caravan seats.

First generation 1989-1999. Though mine didn't have any headrest, which is better. There's even a passenger seat belt built in.

YUP! Sunday I formally mounted it & . . . what he said.

Note: I'm 6'0" & now I sit sit kind of high (but perfect & very comfortable in a stock body) which the mounting base may not work with a chopped car, however it does unbolt so you could make a lower profile mounting base or put it on the floor for all you choppers

Just to help out a little.

Seat in a 30 coupe:

Mount using adjuster from a late 70s Ford:
[IMG][/IMG]

Was going to use the seats original slider, but the Ford one gave a finer adjustment on stops and moved the lever to the center instead of the passenger side. Still have to make and weld on a lever on the drivers side for the tilt.

I have the EXACT same seat, blue and all! (Well, not THAT exact seat, cause yours is in Canuckland...)

I thought it was cool that it fit sooooo well!

Thanks for the pictures. I know a couple of guys are using them. I was just going to cut of the hook pieces of the mount that would go into the floor on the Mazda and then use some angle welded to the stubs. I know it will be mounted high but it's going into a unchopped Sport Coupe and my wife doesn't like a low seat.

Can you guys measure that seat bottom from the point where it meets the back, going forward.

I put in a caravan seat in my A and honestly I kinda feel like I want a longer seat bottom that goes further out and supports my legs.

I notices the after market glide and glide style that is sold by a hamber seem to be a tad longer and actually bump up under the backside of the lowerer thighs.

May be un necessary but I think it could be more supportive.
