NHRA Street Roadster class required a windshield. Some of those guys got pretty creative.

Here's my roadster, not chopped, just slanted way back.
I actually bought the body with the windshield already slanted, so it was done this way in the 50's probably.

Here is my 27, kind of drag roadster style, although I recently put a dropped 32 heavy under it which makes it a bit more Hot Rod looking:
I leaned the posts back as far as I could, although I may take another inch or two out of the height. I'm on the lookout for the right Halibrands for the front. |
