I loved that car at the GNRS Customs Then & Now event.
I really like the Custom Cars that where customized in the early 1940's They are so pure. Here are a few photos I took of it. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Amazing. So rad! Some cars you can just "feel" the spirit around them.. Thats one of them.

Why lookie there, someone snuck some skirts on the ole girl!
Gorgeous old girl, love those headlights and grille, my No 2 on 1939 style, right behind a 39 Zephyr.

Fender skirts would look good if the rear were more elongated ,but as is it would have an armadillo effect.

I have a 39 and will def put skirts on it. The rear fender cutouts have a weird shape that I personally don't like very much. Gorgeous car anyway!

I think that car is beautiful, ever since I saw it on the Rodders Journal. Gorgeous color and stance is just right.

A very nice example of an early custom. The DeSoto bumpers look perfect on this car. Lots of small changes plus the Carson top enhance the '39 design and give it a great look!
