Jalopy showdown first timers pictures

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by south jersey ardun, May 21, 2012.

  1. This was my first time here. What a great place for the show. Old oval dirt track, large shaded camp grounds and the EMMR Museum.
The weather couldn't have been better. The show was well organized and all the people were very friendly. A great place to meet and talk rodding, there was a wealth of knowledge available here. Thanks to all who stopped by and said hello.

I was thinking the same thing !!! There's so much going on that you just can't see it all. One kool car leaves a spot another one pulls in...

  17. Dose anyone know how many cars were at the jalopy showdown? What states were represented? Thanks. Sam

  18. i think i read in another thread that there was like 485 cars that qualified to be in the infield... that doesn't count all the muscle car, street rod, late model stuff outside of the track.

I met up with this guy at the Gas station early Saturday Morning on the way to the showdown, we had both our cars side by side, and this thing just flew! It had a hopped-up Flattie with Grancor heads on it!
