...as usual, I am a day late and a dollar short......but, here goes my story and pics from this past weekend......
Stache and I left the Jersey Shore on Friday morning to get to the Flyers' BBQ by lunchtime......Hot Rod Jen (metalhotrodgirl) was awaiting my arrival in the *Fiddy One Fez Sled* to pinstripe it for me.......I had to really *hump* to get my custom all painted, wet sanded and buffed out in time to even make the show! But we made it and had a real good time at Zach's place with such people coming in during the day as ThunderbirdEsq, Bruce Lancaster, Dick Lewis, HomemadeHardtop57, YankeeDave, Kevin & Amy, and many more folks........happy to make some new acquaintances during the day....Denny, Rusty, and others were friendly and it was good to meet them among others....... My pics will be a little different this year as I didn't walk around and take pics of the cars very much.......I was hot, tired and lacked energy this year......getting old I guess.......the reason I built this custom Ford Victoria....going lower and slower as I get older..... Zach has named the car the *Fez Sled*......might make this a quiz to see if you can figure out why?? Anywho.......wonderful to see old friends and new.....I may comment some during the show...... Here goes:    I enjoyed seeing my old friend, Dick Lewis from Lititz, PA, one of the really legendary machinists and engine builders........great car builder as well.....  YankeeDave came rolling in around midday...  Everybody spent a lot of time in Zach's shop.......but I am sure that no lies were told!      I ran into that *Mystery Guest* from the Jalopyrama again!           ....stay tuned for more...... CB

        Stopped back to see how Jen was progressing on my *Tommy the Greek* style pinstriping.......quite well I'd say.....   The Flyers' Roadsters were lined up on display.......cool lakes style rods.....   Andy Kohler from Buffalo, NY made his maiden voyage in his fresh built '34 hammered coupe......talk about a Bonneville profile!!    Back to the shop....

    Stache made some more new friends....  Saturday morning, 6:30 AM.....time to head to Latimore!         Low and Slow Brucie in the caravan.....        mo' pics coming.....

Sightseeing along the way......
 Andy of the Flyers, Beatnik Pirate, and Sir Whoosh joined in the caravan.....  Finally at Latimore and ready to see the sights... ..now, I am sitting in my chair minding my own business......and the next thing you know, I find myself in a *Bear Hug!*.........thank you, Denise.......wonderful to see you again.....and thanks for the tongue in my ear! I heard that in some primitive cultures that makes you engaged!
  Some of my very favorite friends stopped by.....great to see you Matt and Megan.....nice story about the train!! WOW! Zach joined in for the pic as well.....my favorite *Gow Man*...   Some good bands were playing throughout the day.......      Spotted a *Clown Car* (Eat yer heart out Mr. Poverty Flats!)....and I knew what was about to happen.......  Guess who's riding in the back? Right! Scary Larry, and I think the lovely Kim was ridin' *shotgun!*.....    My good friend from the Jersey Shore, Sam baker was there with his killer Deuce 3w ARDUN car........glad that you made it, Sam!    I think some gnome wandered in to get a good look at what was going on!.......seriously, Bob.....always great to see you and greet you!  Back to some cars the rest of the way.....   almost to the end.....

   High level conference....maybe even a *Summit Meeting!*  Hot Rod Jen and I had *dueling cameras!*  And, finally, the rods started going onto the track to get the fun started!        And here's my one *Mud Shot*.........  T-T-Th-Th-That's all folks........headed back to the Shore in the late afternoon and my Victoria *Fez Sled* was great to drive on the Turnpike and the Blue Route.......hustled along doing mostly around 70, but I got passed by EVERYTHING on the road to my left........these people must go 75 or 80+ regularly and don't seem to get caught.......we live in amazing time! Hope you enjoyed my weekend.......I know that I had a great time..... Mr. CB

GREAT JOB--- your car looks great, and she did a great job, it was great to see Bruce Lancaster (international man of mystery), Zachs place looks great and so does his cars.....no comment on his mustache, and the show pics look like fun. As for the clown car? That guy has got the world by the tail.....ask me how I know !
