Jake's tub is still my favorite. I was an impressionable teen-ager when he built that car. Love it.

Here's some photos of mine, "31 2dr deluxe Phaeton. I owned a '32 full fendered roadster, but it was too small for me, so I sold it. This body came up on e-bay out of New York and I thought " it looks like a roadster but I can move the seat back for more leg room. Myself and 3 friends built the car in 7 weekends, and a few long nights, and it's made 2 round trips to Bonneville trouble free (except for melting a fan relay socket in the middle of Nevada).

These are all pretty awesome. My favorite phaeton is the '36 Ford hands down. The late 30's and early 40's GM ones were pretty cool too IMO.

Ok, not a phaeton, but my favorite touring car is this one:
![]() I would also love to build an A inspired by the Walt Disney cartoon Make Mine Music.

Would you believe, that is the first coffin-nose Cord I've ever liked.

Damn, I remember when phaetons were the car to have! (late seventies) A couple of years ago my buddy Ron Olmstead asked if I would co-pilot his '35 over to LARS. Being a veteran of many years of this 110 degree roast fest in any roadster, I of couse said yes and then prepared for the worst. How frickin' nice is a big phaeton with the top up? Damn nice! We arrived at LARS with out a hair out of place!!! It's happily roaming around New Zeland these days.

Absolutely! And my buddy Ron from above. His Fat Jack built '34 was everywhere and won everything from about '78 - '80.
