I could not believe the film shot from the rear of the camera car, he stayed out there for a lap or two, With Jack and Manny in the front row it was quite a show!

The roadsters were great and it was good to see it that it was shot with a tripod mounted camera giving steady shots. But for me it was also checking out the infield; the pile of jalopy sedans, the support vehicles, and the people watching.
And Ryan, the music worked.

Great movie. Music was cool, probably not what they were listening to at that time, but a great break from some of the BS at work. Doesn't Rathmann live up to his reputation...look at that expression!

I knew you'd add some tunes to it I for one think it's just that much better with the soundtrack. Glad to know I'm not the only moron that bombards you with PMs. Haha!!!

Incredible!
Now I am daydreaming about where I can "race" my "tub" after I cut it apart and rebuild it into a roundy-rounder.

Multiple threads on this video. But that No. 53 pick up might be Yam Oka. Or Fred Ryness. Or Colby Scroggins. I've seen those names associated with that number.

Couldn't help but notice the "rollbar" on this one.
Sometimes, when I see the way folks lived before "safety everything" I am amazed. Totally bad ass video! |
