Pretty hard to compete with the Europeans ~ Inventors of Art Deco in my book for the 1930's. Serious Style, Innovation & Performance :

• 1932 Bugatti Tipo 55 Sport ~ the first alloy wheels/Italy

• 1937 Delahaye Chapron 145 Coupe'/France

• 1930 Mercedes SSK 'Count Trossi' (the only one) owned by Ralph

Lauren/Germany

I know it did not make the top ten list but you have to admit the 37 Chevy had some nice lines. They also make awesome street rods. Over the years I have had a coupe, 2 sedans, a sedan delivery, a panel truck and a pickup truck. I even bought back my old chopped sedan last year.

While the '35 Auburn is a beautiful car, I think this is a more beautiful '31 Auburn. Of course I am partial to this particular one. It belongs to my Father.

Its all in the eye of the beholder. Subjectively we all have a list. I do have to admit that I am partial to the '39 deluxe coupe. I dont know why......
I am suprised that no one yet has said " 32 Lincoln speedster"?

The -36 Mercedes Benz 540K Autobahn Kurier... perfection.

-32 Daimler Double Six, almost exaggerated but stunning.

Did they really make a truly bad looking car in the 30's?

Hard to imagine all these superior designs during the Great Depression!

But if the dream is big enough... the facts don't matter!

Yes, 1933 Tatra V570........but I had to look really hard, and even this looks better than a Prius.

Okay, if we are playing world cars - the 1934 Voisin C27 Aerosport is a stunner and having had the opportunity to study it up close and personal I can confirm the engineering is phenomenal too....

nothing against a 32 Ford coupe, but seriously, how can it even be included in the same group with all the wonderful and gloriously stylish cars that you guys posted?

The styling is not even in comparison.
