Yesterday Jean and I jumped in the box with wheels and made the trip to Portland for the Roadster show. The quality of the cars overall was higher than I remember with very of what I would call filler cars.

Bear with me as the lighting in those buildings is terrible for taking photos with my camera.

400+ lb Bronze Deuce roadster that is for sale for 140something thousand.

This Chevy is actually a serious red rather than how it shows up. The lights wash the color out of red cars in that building.

Nice Olds and the light blue really works in that building.

Sometimes a car doesn't need mods to look great.

This car is unbelievable when you get to look at it in person. Photos just don't do it justice.

There were a number of air brush artists booths with great work on display.

That's it for this year. 3-1/2 hours of walking up and down the isles looking at some great cars. The rest of the album is here but if you fear going blind because your eyes saw a few ot cars you probably best not look look though as I took over 400 photos this year including many ot cars and trucks.

That's probably best looked at in slideshow form.

Again, my apologies for all the glare in the photos, I think it's time to upgrade my camera equipment.

150+miles of driving down 3-1/2 hours at the show and a bit of shopping on the way back with another 150 miles home made for quite a day.

Go ahead, I looked for you on Sunday. I had to work until noon on Saturday and had to put my truck back together when I got home.

I did have my HAMB Andy shirt on.

Thanks for posting...I wanted to make it, but couldn't. My son, Marcus, and Paul are the two guys that comprise New Metal Kustomz, and they built the Sylvester 32 roadster entry.

  20. I wanted to go, but pa got in an accident and I had to stick around. Glad you posted so I could get an idea of what it looked like.

Anyone have some more pictures of that yellow Henry J with the black SS stripes? Maybe a front shot?

  29. I saw a trend in glass, the Henry J was probably one of the best examples.

I spent three and a half hours of steady walking, looking and taking photo and it still looks like I missed a whole section of the show.

For anyone who didn't go the show is in three big buildings of which each can hold most regular car shows easily. Plus there was a separate fourth building that had a gun show going on at the same time.
