Looked like there were more deuces there than a busy day at the Rolling bones shop! Was that a clone of the Jackman bros. sport coupe in one pic ? any more of it?

THANKS everyone for your nice comments!
Not sure how I missed posting Gary Schroeder's roadster last night, maybe cause I was half a sleep! Lots of hand made parts on this one by longtime fab'r Dick Russell. That's me doing the lettering last year. I had a hard time put'n a brush on this one. Thanks again........BE SAFE! |

Hopefully CW's40TPU doesn't mind if I ad a few pictures to his thread. We made it back home to Tucson a few hours ago, a little over 1,100 miles for the weekend. We had a great time at the Petersen, and also managed to fit in quite a bit of site seeing as well since we brought our wives along with us. Some highlights included a shock repair after midnight in the Wal Mart parking lot in yuma, AZ, our cross-dressing "waitress" at Du-par's and buying enough premium unleaded to support OPEC for the foreseeable future. Sorry for the low-res iPhone pics, hopefully Mike (ElBombero) will add some from Amber's camera.

If I remember correctly it was a German Body. The chassis, drive train, grille shell hood and firewall etc...where exported, then the body built in Germany. One of the interesting things is the hood. You'll see the 32 hood but with the step around the louvers like a Model A. Looks like ford was using up leftover parts... or at least a cross utilization of tooling.
Anyone know what the ribbon was for on the front? I hope you liked the paint. I did the body and paint on this years ago. The fenders and the Pines winter front grille are not black, but a deep chocolate color.

The red ribbon was a participant ribbon if entered into the show.BTW English 32's had the same hood side panels with the louvers on the raised panel.
