Default Chopped 1948 pontiac, no more golden pearl 50 olds here we go again

Sold the chopped 50 olds fast back, went to a great guy in indy. So got to do another one. This one is a 1948 pontiac chopped streamliner, camaro sub, 455 eng, 400 trans, planning on black and white roll and pleat and wanting to do a color primer (no black}. If you guys have a suggestion on what color primer would look good let me know. Im thinking about lavender or purple. Will post pictures of progess.see you at the march meet.

Great custom... but it needs bumpers first.

Lavender/purple sounds real good to me. Unless of course you wanna go orange like Gambino's 54. That's one sweet looking ride too.

Not sure on the perfect Kolor, if it were gloss rootbeer might be good. I do dig the Lincoln taillights. I looked at your past cars! I really like the orange 3 window ford. I have never seen a pic of it? any pics from the rear?

rikster, the bumpers are in the chrome shop now. Had to hock the house to pay for the chrome, not cheap.

Particularly good proportions on what has to be an extremely difficult chop. It almost looks to me like they chopped a coupe and then added a section of roof skin and trunk lid from a fastback. Not real sure how it was done but well executed for sure. I look forward to seeing it with paint and bumpers.

Your Olds was beautiful. That is a sharp '48 too though. With lines like it has I would have to paint it a dark gloss color. Blue, purple, burgandy, black, green...

Post up what you decide on.

im to lazy to keep the dark colors clean, right now im leaning toward lavender primer.
