3D Flames, something a little different for my T Bucket. I've been wanting to do a 3D flame project for some time, and thought if I used the Grabowski Kookie car theme the finished product would have a different look to it.
I started modeling/scuppering almost fifty years ago, and over the years have been involved in some interesting projects. The first flame project took place in 2000 when I was modeling Kayaks for the largest Kayak company in the world. We had an almost unlimited budget, and could play around with different designs. One of us cam up with the idea of a flame, or a lightning bolt. So we sculptured the flames on the deck of a master pattern boat we called the blaze. Like all design projects in the corporate world there left up to block heads in marketing. In the end the Blaze never made it to the market place. In 2007 I almost did the Blaze Flame theme on a 50 Merc that I was sculpturing, but the money and time ran out before it could be added to the original project. One more time where the powers that be couldn't see the forest from the trees. This time it's my own project and I have the final word. In the next month Ill be making a new mold for the entire T Bucket body, flames and all. Thanks for reading.
