G'day , Ryan and Blake , it was a blast having you guys in town with us all and as Kiwi Kev says , we thank you as now we have Hot Rod friends all over the world and even more at home because of this site !

As for that Monday night /Tuesday morning , we have all been interviewed by the Police and I think our stories are straight .............

It was all I could do to convince those Texas boys to keep their six shooters in their pants as the copper approached, breathalizer in hand.

Lucky for that cop, he didn't make any sudden moves or give me any attitude. Those boys were on a hair trigger. Coulda got ugly.

These are the kind on memories that will last a life time, in your golden years, or the winter on your life you will still have them as fresh as the day they were made. As a good friend of mine would say "Good show old man", I hope you have many more memorial trips in your time here as you take us along with your wonderful written stories, well done.

Congrats on getting a trip to the land of Dingos, Boomerangs, and, Koala's ! Have a family friend that's been there for over 30 years and loves it. (Also, had a girlfriend named Sydney...but she was from New Orleans.

As the other posts have said, it's the friendships made over the past week and year that will stay with myself and jess, it's something that my kids will remember when two sorry looking texans rolled up to our front door in search of beer and a good time.

My fav moments from the last week, Blake attempting to break his neck on the trampoline, any of those unmentionable nights, morning coffee at Ben's and of course the run.

Had an absolute ball, thommo.

Ryan and Blake - I know that I speak for all the River City guys (and gals), in that it was our extreme pleasure to have enjoyed your company over those days you were with us. I feel as though the language of hot rodding is a universal language.

There's a lot of hot rodders who get it, and will fit in anywhere hot rodders gather. You two are big time "get it" guys
