Congrats,,,You have a well thought out plan and a nice looking car to start with..The advice about rules and installing more cage than you need is best advice so far in my book...chassis flex uses up power, and when starting this project-safety should be of the outmost concern, someone else will be in the other lane too! I look forward to seeing the car become complete GOOD LUCK!! Al

Good luck with your build sound like you know exactly what you want to do. I'm building a 62 Falcon, started out to be a gasser but....well it's an altered now.
I'll be watching your progress. Kevin

Fast Eddie with his new look Falcon,I liked it better without the billboards!!! JMO,ROY. I stopped by and talked to Mike and looked at his 64 Falcon project. He has a good solid foundation and some cool old parts to use on his B/FX project. He is a true Ford believer, has a good idea on what he wants to do with this build! ROY.

Mike;did Don Havers have a tube axle on that Falcon?Just curious as he has fenderwell headers, not much room for them with the shock towers.Just getting two out on each side on mine was tight!! ROY.

He did not say anthing about a straight axle when we spoke, in fact i thought he told me he had a fairly stock style suspension, but in looking at this photograph you can either see a straight axle or a tow bar...its probably a tow bar...

Mike;I think that is an axle, the tow bar has a downward slope from the Falcon to the Galaxy.I also noticed how far forward the front wheels are. JMO,ROY.

what do you think about this paint scheme?More of a Strip Teaser/ Sox and Martin paint job.... Ordered the roll bar today, hopefully some progress will get to be made in the next couple weeks! I will be selling the factory buckets seats and console from the car to fund the roll bar. I will be listing them in the classifieds if any of you want to jump on them before that...

Personally I don't care for the red, white and blue theme on a Falcon but that's just me. Dave Lyall's Falcon looked pretty good. Orange seems to fit imo.
![]() And Rocket Igniters would fit the look

Red, white and blue is always a great combo. Lots of other cars have done that. Make it your own and do what you like. So if you like the red, white, and blue do it.
Hey green is a great color for a Falocn!!!! |

I had a neighbor call about the other 64 falcon I had on the side of my house and city code compliance sent me a notice saying I had ten days to move it out of my driveway even though it is currently registered, it does not have an engine so it is deemed inoperable .. So that one is now in my garage and my racecar is on the side... I wish the neighbors would just send me a note or even just talk to me in person!*
Anyways I have been working on the fiberglass fenders and got all the bolt holes drilled out on one of them and cleaned up, I will post some pictures later today. Those Crites fenders are made of very sturdy fiberglass! Dylan that is a cool looking car! Are those original halibrands? Or what kind of wheels are those? What's is running for power? For some reason I thought that car had a bbc? Thanks for the replies. Mike |

I like your ideas for this car! Red, white and blue would be awesome on there (reminds me of the times those cars were running around).
Too bad your photshop skills are as sucky as mine.

Mike;code enforcement nazis are very active in our town! I have had more than my share of problems with them.To make a point with them I went around my neighborhood and listed all the garage conversions[illegal here],all the unregistered vehicles on the street[seven]and the two trailers in the street that had not moved in months[weeds growing and trash under them.I called them in,if the city is going after me then they need to get everyone, which they did!I still must play by the rules but so should my neighbors! ROY.
