Well I'm two years into my project build 1954 R-100 shortbed(nick named: Ant Slayer) now with numerous setbacks along the way, but now that it has reached the time for final assembly I figured it would be a good time for a build/picture thread since I just love looking at others build threads, and seeing how IHC's are not the typical run of the mill build I thought my pictures might help some of you other binder builders out there. This project is designed to be able to lay fender when aired out to park.

I wont spend a whole lot of time typing every detail out. I'll let the pictures tell the story and if there are any questions don't hesitate to ask.

June 2009. Bought off of craigslist for $800. Pretty solid for an old farm truck. Transmission came in a box in pieces.

Awesome, this should be somthin. I wonderin if the dash you have in your 54' is out of a 1 1/2 to 2 ton. The reason I ask is that I noticed the 4 knobs which I believe to be wipers, lights, throttle, and choke. My 54' does not have those but my 50' does. Thanks

There are a few of them around. Sears was selling one for awhile. It's 1/24th scale and made of metal. I had to disassemble it to refinish it.
