"" Ah! Enjoyed the movie. We grew up at this time. Never had parents forsake me! Guess I was a lucky one. Jay Y.

That's the Don Ferrara Roadster in a later guise, I think it was light blue then. Can't wait to see it restored, is Orosco still doing it?
The flick wasn't too bad either (considering!) Running Wild is another one that didn't suck. Noticed the So-Cal '31 A roadster (that Tanimura has now) at the drags too! Love the T-tub, cool upholstery-

I like the old Hot Rod movies and the Sci-Fi stuff.Occasionally you'll see somebody famous in them and the cars and gizmos are great.

It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out. He looked a little familiar but the voice gave it away.

Did the doctor from Emergency's touring T have a three on the tree?
I'm too busy looking in the background to really see these kinds of movies, I love 'em. Kevin

Yes you can get more as there is a huge collection over various webs. As i am also fond of old movies as they depict more accuracy rather than.

Don't know how to pull clips from movies, but was watching "Guess who's coming to dinner" the other night.
Tracy and Hepburn were pulling out of a diner lot and he backed into a roadster with bobbed fenders. Caved it in pretty bad and the guy jumped out and was going ballistic. Was screaming that it would probably cost 30 or 40 dollars to fix it. Tracy shoved $50 at him and told him not to fix it, but just get himself another car. OUCH! |

I was following one thread posted here that lead to another and links to others and then found this cool short film clip from Devil on Wheels (1946) and got a big kick out of it http://www.myspace.com/flyerscc/videos/1946/24600529
