Cool 348-409 waterpump adaptors for your Ford Flathead

Well, here they are, after much pressure from many angles I have made 5 sets of 409 water pump adaptors for 49 to 53 Ford Flatheads.

They are the exact same as the ones on my hotrod, except for no chrome. As you can see from the pictures they let you run a modern 348-409 water pump (available at Edelbrock) on you 49 - 53 ford flathead while keeping all the original parts such as time cover, they are also the front motor mounts. I have now driven my old Flathead for 15,000 miles over three years with no problems.

They introductory price is $399.00 a set plus shipping, the next batch WILL be more money!


If shipping from Canada is a concern, here are some options; I will be at the Good Guys show in Columbus July 7-10th and the Syracuse Nationals July 15-17th and can bring them with me, or I live only 30 mins from NY state and can take them over and ship from there to save money and time.

Just an FYI, I have make some more and I am heading down east later this week and will be at the Adirondack Nationals, Orange-Mass Drag Strip reuion, Ty-Rods and the Alter Boys show.

So if anyone is interested, let me know, as I will be driving my 40 Ford, not the 34, but I can bring a set of these if anyone is interested.
