Default British folks, I need help with a gastank ID?

Here is what I have, very good shape. The sender is UK. My pal that I got it from said it was British but we have no clue what it actually is. The hole facing us is the filler, big flanged hole on top is the senderThe side sitting on the freezer has a cutout for a differential. You are looking at the top (facing) and back (facing upwards in photo). What the heck do I have? I may need to match it with another one

That is a Triumph Spitfire tank, not sure of exact year but I think all the 60's-70's were the same

Thanks, I suspected something like that. Depending how I use the tank, it is small and in an A Tudor space is at a premium. BTW, I exorcized the Brit sender out of it to be safe.
