I just wanted to remind the east coasters about our show next weekend. Saturday, June 25th we're putting on the first Southeast Baltimore Rod & Custom Cookout. We've got space for about 90 cars, and it will be limited to the types of rods and customs we all like to look at.

$10 registration starts at 10:00am, and the show runs from noon to 6:00 (or whenever we wind up giving out the couple of trophies we've got). We've got a beer truck and a bunch of food vendor's (including Rod Henry's - of the Glenmont Popes fame - Dangerously Delicious Pies), and there are a bunch of cool shops and bars within a stone's throw. All in all it should be a damn good day to hang out with our cars and our friends.

The Cookout will be held in the parking lot on the corner of Fleet and Conkling streets and it's directly behind Retro-Mart (who is helping to put this show on). Their address is 3711 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224. Get there and you'll find the show.

Look for a HAMB auction this weekend for a poster (printed at the world famous Globe Poster Co.), t-shirt and some shop rags. PM me or call Retro-Mart at 410-327-3876 for any more info. Hope to see and meet some of you guys there.

If I can get someone to drive it. I am trying to get the 54 Poncho and the chevy down there. I am throwing a Smitty on it for now until my split set up arrives and hopefully the whole the body work will be well on its way. Things have been dragging because I was put on nights for the past few weeks and I am all out of sorts. The car rides incredible. We peaked the hood the whole way back and I have my mexican blankets.....

Just need a little bit of time to put it together...

Going to Churchville this Friday or Fox Run, DE on Sat?

Actually, my brother's friend's cousin is supposed to be getting hitched to some circus midget down in Opelika that weekend, so it's possible I'd be tied up...

We are hoping to leave here around 8:30. That gives enough time to gas up and all the other crap that you need to do with a group.

We should be there around 10. That is the plan at least.

This part of the big city ain't that scary...there's plenty of parking on and around the lot. Come on down!

Jeff - sorry you can't make it this time. I've still got that trans waiting for you - I'll get it to you sooner or later!

Looking forward to it, maybe I'll meet some of you. I'll be easy to spot, I'll be the guy not driving a cool car.
