Moving's a pain if you're a hoarder of old stuff.

I remember moving to my place 5 years ago... couldn't give a damn about sofas, furniture, kitchen stuff, etc... I was just worried I wouldn't lose any of the hundreds of boxes my garage turned into!

Good luck with the move, hope everything goes smoothly.

    Cheers, Eddie

  15. Moving itself is not fun no matter how small or large or for whatever reason - in the end it's all for the good, however, right? Good luck !

Moving is a pain. My Granddad had a saying, "Three moves equals a fire".

The whole Unabomber thing is great as long as you remember to occasionally wash...

I've watched the build on TGJ and the new place looks sweet. Enjoy it, but make sure you give it a positive vibe so ya enjoy going in there. An old manual typewriter off in the corner would make it truly hermit-esque

I think at this point it'd be better to wait till I die and let my kids move all my stuff.

I hope your move goes well.

Where is the "Keep out" sign on the doors of that pic?

I saved the pic of those doors. I need to build some like that for my shop.
Those look cool. We snagged a full wood and glass garage door once from a
dumpster dive at a Tia's Tex-Mex restaurant that was closing down. They
were throwing it away! I sent my wife back the next day with the truck, and
the contractors even dug it out of the dumpster and loaded it for her. It's like
a 500 lb door, with double pane glass. Looked great on my garage.

My wife and I were driving through Lincoln, Montana in our 1934 Chevrolet and some friends were following us in a 1955 Chevrolet. We saw a large auto wrecking yard and towing company and stopped to look at the wrecked cars. The owner was a nice guy and said the Unibomber had been one of his customers. He referred to him as "Ted".

  28. Are you going with the "Two College Kids will Move You"?
Or the usual "Four HAMBers with Nothing Better To Do,Will Move You"? hahaha!

  29. Damn I thought you ment that you were shutting down for a week to move. I was going to say everyone has to call me at least once a day. I am a hermit these days not by choice.

Good luck my friend. if you need a hand I could use a change of scenery.
