It is about damm time somebody did a movie on the godfather of the Salt Flats!!! Those vintage clips are insanely cool! I didn't see on the site where I could buy a copy of this movie.

As far as I know the movie is not yet available on DVD. It just had its world Premier this last week at the Sarasota Film festival. And will be traveling to various film festivals throughout the USA. For current news check out http://www.boysofbonneville.com/news/

Just saw it over the weekend at a film festival here in Tucson. Really great film and absolutely stunning story! In the film they show tons of old footage of Ab driving his endurance races. I cannot believe that he drove for 24hrs straight at an average of 140mph and only drank milk! If you have a chance, definitely see this

We watched "World's Fastest Indian," and the wife said "We're going to Bonneville." We want to get back this year... I'm thinking if I get her into a theater to see this, we'll be crunching salt under our feet in August.

For years, the Mormon Meteor was on display at the State Capitol building in SLC. A few years ago the building underwent a major renovation and when it reopened I was dismayed the car was no longer there. I didn't know it was being restored and headed to a more appropriate (and safer) location. If your Bonneville trip allows it, head to SLC and check out the museum.
