    from Texas .

I have been driving a 39 Ford pickup every day for 17 years. I pull a car hauler trailer thru four states on a regular basis. The cab is small and cramped. It doesnt seem like a good idea to make it smaller

My old '39 had a ridiculous amount of headroom. I'm just under six feet tall and there was still a good two and a half feet above my head. I could have chopped that thing until there was no window at all and still had plenty of room in there. I dont see that chop being any problem unless the owner is eight feet tall.

ok were doing this truck chop for pops29 here on the hamb heres a rendering he had done of what the trucks gona look like
    [IMG]
pops29's plan is building a 1939 Ford PU. With a few mods. The concept drawing is by E Black design. his plans are a 3" chop, dropping the stock Grille assembly and blending in a 36 passenger grille and partial hood with louvers , I will be running a Buick 322 nailhead with 6 97's.
    thank you vary much
