Absolutely awesome! I showed my son Cal who has braces, and he said "I wish I went there!"

Mighty cool. But will the kids really "get it?" Gary

What a place!Almost makes me want to come in and have some work done on the teeth! (Not) Doc this is short of a Miracle and should put the little ones at rest with the fears most of us had back when. Great Job.

Unbelievable! That is the best office I have ever seen. I hope some of that car stuff rubs off on the kids.
So are you going to make braces that look like '54 Chevy grill teeth? That might be cool. The kid wearing that would have to be pretty serious about cars, huh? Nice work Doc. I am extremely impressed. Michael

HA! I just re-read the thread and was AMAZED at how much work you did yourself on this project. Obviously anyone with a load of cash could make this happen, but you took your dream and MADE it happen with a combination of money, sweat and creativity. NICE!
Also, I noticed your comment about the 1978 copy of Grease Machines turning you onto all of this. I immediately jumped on the unmentionable auction site and bought a nice copy for all of $10. Can't wait to check it out. HAPPY MOTORING! |

Naturally, to most folks, the place is just "cool." Very few people get the Larry Watson stuff, etc. But that's ok, I get it. ![]() Quote:
Many of the guys on site just thought I was a guy with a good designer, but when I started showing up with a welder or talked to the electrician about this or that light fixture that we needed to custom build, they started to see maybe I had a few "skilz." LOL I have to be careful showing up to work after a weekend in the shop.....most folks don't appreciate an orthodontist with torn up hands and greasy fingernails. LOL

Well, ive got two kids and im told both will need braces.
I was shocked when I found out what it was going to cost. Now I understand why ! I will admit that being able to hang out at your office might make the experience a bit less painful, for me anyway. |
