I think the bastard cheated. Oh sure, Matt claims to be from Riverside and he "says" he created those bumper guard taillights from scratch in the comfort of his own shop... BUT, I'm certain he's actually from Detroit and works for one of those concep... To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here. |

I gotta tell you guys, when I joined the HAMB several years ago, it was to learn the history of traditional hot-rods and kustoms. But what really blows me away (aside from Riksters insane photos) is how much technical knowledge I have learned. Thanks. Slim

Well deserved win for sure, although all of us fortunate enough to have seen this are in the winners circle as well. All submissions were brilliant an very unselfish sharing. I felt angels of the past icons hovering over this project nodding thier heads in approval. But talk about winners, The Baileigh folks have stepped up above and beyond the call of duty. It is very refreshing to see this kind of participation in our sport and I say "Hats Off" to the fine folks at Baileigh, mucho gracious and mucho amore to this progessive orginazation. ARRIBA!! ~sololobo~

Matt, Good-on-ya bro. I was looking at that casting resin just before tech week at S&W Plastics, the wheels were turning. Looks like you put the wheels in motion.
Ryan, He does live in Riverside, I can vouch for that.

That was too funny Ryan! I appreciate everybody who liked the tech and I hope you guys got some useful information and ideas out of it..AND VOTED FOR ME!!! I figured there would be a comeback in the last day! Not sure what I'll get yet, but I'll let you guys know. I'll be fabbing some more lenses here pretty soon and Ill post up some pics of how they turn out. I have some new ideas, so we will see how they work and how they turn out. Thanks again Baileigh, 51mercules, and the guys on the HAMB for making this such a great and imformative site!!

Definitely well deserved. To me this is perfect tech.
Something that looks complicated, but broken down into digestible bits is attainable for most anyone without crazy special equipment. Great documentation and the result looks badass and fully traditional. So great that I've decided to start hunting for suitable a suitable rear bumper and guards for my F1. |

Good job! Great write up, and first class presentation of a project , that when completed, would make us all scratch our heads and wonder how in the hell did you come up with lenses to do that. Now we'll know.
It's cool to see a company like Baleigh put this out there. Everybody got their start on the HAMB for different reasons, mine was the classifieds. That was last year, right before Tech Week. I blame Tech Week for setting the HAMB hook! Evan
