How about 5th wheel/ spare tire steering for your Cadillac? Makes it easy to slide that large lead sled into inaccessible garages or those pesky, tight parking spots! Ok, so some people have seen this before and some haven't. I hadn't. But now I'm really curious how this works. The spare doesn't simply fall. It actually lifts the weight of the rear of the car. Not knocking the HAMB, but it is amazing how many different answers you can get for the same question. Let's hear them.

That's pretty cool but you would still have to be mindful of the distance between the car in front and behind. Because as you pivoted your car you would actually take up more space corner to corner. Simple geometry!
