I used a Sweet Mfg. 9/16"-26 to 3/4 round non-flex coupler. Othe companies make them too. They come in different configurations.

I just recently ran into the same issue with U-Joints. I took 65standard's advice and ordered from Sweet MFG as well. They came in yesterday and they seem great.

I still have not solved the problem, I can not return the parts that I bought and I have no autoparts available to go and take what I need.

Now it's the holiday season, think of doing this work in September

I'd definitely look into the straight coupler and see if you can't use some of what you already have. Looking great Frank, keep it up!
