Bolted the body back down on Sunday and started reassembly. There are still a few things I need to fabricate and/or figure out small brackets, etc. It's coming together, though.
Figured out a new mounting location for the taillights, since the old nerf/taillight bar just wasn't growing on me. I'll get a better photo of the new location tonight. Also messed with the dash some last night. Push-button starter fits perfectly in the old windshield crank location in the dash 'waterfall'. I found the old on/off switch at a swap meet and it fit perfectly in the V8 ashtray location. The connections on the back of it are rather small, so I'm not sure how much amperage it could handle. It will not be wired up, just a dummy switch.

Man, that dash looks so good. I dig the pushbutton starter location and the 'dummy' On/Off switch.

Looking pretty cool Nick. As for the low amperage switch, you could use it to switch a relay, and run your headlights or something, that would be neat.

Not much in the way of photos, but we did get alot of the wiring done yesterday. My buddy, Jason, and his dad, Lowell, helped with the wiring. I used a Rebel 9+3 kit. It's a very nice kit that is set up for a GM Column. That being said, I'm not sure it's the kit I should've gone with. It will still work just fine, but there are a TON of wires that I wont' be using. I'm not installing turn signals and really don't have much extra for things that need to be wired up, but it still takes time to do it right! We got about 75% of it done yesterday and I have a list of a few little things I need to get to finish it. Other things now done: -Driveshaft shortened and installed -Brakes are completely bled and functioning, except for a faulty (NEW) brake light switch -Front engine items are all figured out and the pulleys actually line up! Anyone who has dealt with small block Fords, knows the pulleys can be a pain in the ass. Single groove pulleys are from a '65 Galaxie at U-Pull-It, water pump is '75 Ford Bronco (outlet on passenger side), balancer is Professional Products brand from Speedway (has both 3- and 4-bolt pulley patterns), timing cover is the one that came on the engine - '86 Mustang 302. -One-wire Ford-mount alternator from Summit (Tuff Stuff brand, I think) will work, but there is very little adjustment before the wire connection hits the passenger side head. Will add a photo later. -Figured out/purchased the right AN- fittings for the fuel tank. I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting right now. Will be working on it every night this week and it should actually be running by next weekend. Still lots to do! ![]()

Glad to see you're getting the wiring done (most of it, anyway)! Won't be too long and you'll be tearing up the roads!!!

Wiring is pretty much done. It's been a pain in the ass, but I sure learned alot!
Took the radiator in to have the lower connection changed from straight out to 45 deg. angled down. The alternator belt would've hit the lower hose with a straight out connection. My buddy, Jason, finished up the decklid hinge and latch work. Thanks alot, Jason! Lots of other little things have been done and still need to be done. This Sunday I plan to have it running and hopefully drivable....
