I did a search and didn't find an answer.

I am trying to get oil to the rockers on a 392. I have the pump priming rod installed in a 1/2" drill motor. I get instant oil pressue on the gauge. I have been spinning the drill for a few minuets, but no oil is comimg out of the rockers. How long should the drill motor have to turn the pump to get oil to the rockers? 2 mins..5 mins? Engine is a fresh rebuild that has been run before, but has sat for a few years. Thanks for any answers.

You need to turn motor over while you are priming it...

Read somewhere that it might take up to 20 minutes to completly purge all air out of a dry oil system on hemis.
