Trying to locate my old beloved chopped '34.... traced it to somewhere in NorCal in approx. 2004... it has the front frame rails pinched in under the grille shell, 8.75 Chrysler rear. Roof was filled with the top of a corvair and filled with lead. originally built as a drag car for the Nostalgia Drags in 1985. ran in the low nines from PHX to Bandemier, to Fremont, CA. was a street rod in El Paso in the 90's. it would really mean a lot to find it.
bump.... if they left the rear end painted .......it has a really cool detail of my husbands Willys doin a burnout MORE photos of Scarlet:
Never seen it. Good Guys is coming up in Pleasanton, if it's in Northern California it might be there.
think i am giving up..... besides, we did find a project steel 5 window and it may turn out okay. goin' to the "Lone Star Round Up" in Austin next week end.
Wish I'd known you were goin' to the LSRU last month. I'd like to have said "Hey". I met you in Fremont in '86. Got a poster of you and you signed a picture for me. Actually, it's the same picture that you're using for your avatar. I'm sure, some twenty-five years later, you're still just as hot, aren't you? lol As I recall, Mindy Fry was driving her Dad's altered. A bunch of us went to help our car club member, Mike Spillman, campaign his '39 Chevy 2 dr. called "Still Doin' Time". Ah, those were fun times! Sorry that I don't know where your old coupe might be. I'll keep a look out for it. Being as it was in Texas at one time, I'm sure I've seen it. You might try posting an ad in the Lone Star Street Rod Association's newsletter, the Street Light. That might bring some results. Good luck! And it's nice to know you're still in the car scene!
